We were neighbors of Ann & Fred on 30th St. and we became good friends. I cannot tell you the number of times I have shared their WW II story with friends and family whenever the subject of the Holocaust came into a conversation. Your Mother was such a kind and gracious lady. She was a person that I will never forget. We had so much respect for your parents for sharing their memories of such a black period in their lives so that people would know the evil that happened. Please accept our sincere sympathy on your loss. Jack, Doris & Lena, you can all be so proud of both your parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Lena, please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. I remember your mom from when you were 17, 18 years old. I can still hear your imitation of her when she was less than pleased with you. :) I'm sorry I was too young to appreciate her many gifts. My sympathies to you and your family.

My dear Doris, Lena, and Jack. I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I wish I could have been in Iowa with you and hug you personally. When a parent dies is a great loss. I'll never forget when I met your mother, a beautiful woman, soft spoken, very talented, and so full of life. It was at the same time that my father, your father's cousin met for the first time in the U.S. May she rest in peace, and our thoughts go to all of you. Love, Vicky, Vivian and Danielle and families
