Delores J. Mundy, 73, of Mechanicsville, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died at her home surrounded by her loving family, after a brave struggle with cancer. Services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday in Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories in Cedar Rapids.. Burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Monday and at the chapel after 2:30 PM on Tuesday.

Delores is survived by her loving children; Julie Mundy, George (Suzanne) Mundy Jr., and Michelle (Conrad) Ullrich, her former husband George Mundy Sr., grandchildren Christopher, Emily, and Joseph Mundy, and other grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Bernice Wright, her son Warren Mundy, her brother Bill, and her sister Lera Osborn.

Delores was an avid collector of many things including books, DVD’s, music, and stuffed animals among other things. She enjoyed her family very much. Delores was a very unique person who touched many lives in her own special angelic ways.
