[Ahh that ----eaten grin of Lumpies is what I will remember the most. Kind, funny, and always wanting to be a better man. With so many challanges in this life, I know he is at such peace now. His family is his joy, and his pride, and Tracy, you are his rock. Jeff knew what he was doing when he chose you as his bride and the ROCK of his family. The Girlos and I will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers as we know first hand what it is like to loose the head of our family. Stay together, bonded as Jeff's legacy to the world. You are why he lived, and he lives on in each of you.

I have been so blessed to be part of Lummy's life. During the time he lived with me, I really got to know him. I know how much he really cared about people. He always called me Aunt Glenda and everyone would ask how that was possible. I just said that is the way he wants it and I really like knowing that is how he felt about me. There are so many wonderful things I could say, but the greatest thing I got to do for him was be the benefit director for his benefit this year. I didn't think we would ever get through the whole night. Overall it was a great time. He will always be with me and my prayers and thoughts are with all of you. When you have one of those bad days just sit back and think about his eyes and how they always smiled at you with them. I am so proud of him and everything he did. I know how much family really meant to him and how he really loved his kids. We have all been blessed to have him in our lives. Love always, Aunt Glenda

I met Lumpie through my boyfriend, Phil. He was always upbeat & had humerous personality despite battling his illness. I remember one day while talking to him, we discovered that we only live two streets away from each other & he would always say, "don't worry, if you ever need help I'm just two streets down!" My heart is just broken for his wife & children. Phil & I are so sorry for your loss.

Tracy, I am so sorry for your lost! Lumpy will be greatly missed! I have so many memories of him, and you. I remember when the tilt-a-whir became the tilt-a-hurl. How he taught me to dance, and how he was protective of those he cared about. How we sang at your wedding, I remember him being so happy and that he loved you so much. I hope the best for You, Tyler, Tanner, Peyton and Parker. You all are in my prayers and thoughts.

Tracy and kids....I was so sad to hear about Jeff. Even though we didn't know him all that well, he was always a very friendly neighbor. I remember 2 summers ago, it was blazing hot outside. I got home from work and Jeff and the kids were in the pool, and I warned him that I was on the way over to jump in and he said," Come on over!" without hesitation I knew he was a wonderful person!!! He was, and you had always been great neighbors, and I'm glad that we got a chance to meet such a wonderful, caring family. Especially, Jeff with his children-every father should strive to be such a good dad, like Jeff was. IF YOU EVER!!!! need to get away and come to the country, or you need a break from the kids....we would LOVE to help you out!!! I mean that too!!! Please call us at 319-828-2058 or my cell phone is 551-8086. May God Bless you and may you find comfort in the memories. Take care of yourself Tracy!!!
