Matthew David Nanke

Kent and Kristin, We were very sorry to hear of the death of your son, Matthew. Our son, Linus, is buried at Cedar Memorial in the Garden of Angels. Linus died last February at 18 months of age. We know what you are going through. Please know that if you need help, it is out there. St. Luke's has a support group that meets on the first Monday of every month. It is called Empty Arms. Going to the support group has been very helpful to us because it is nice to know others are going through the same thing. You can also e-mail us at echalupa@mchsi.com. Writing to other parents who have lost children has also been very helpful. Again, we are very sorry for your loss.

We are thinking of your family at this time. Both Zach and Jacob were so touched at your strength and determination while carrying Matthew. Kristin: Your light will continue to shine and be an example to others. God is using Matthew in very powerful ways - ways in which we don't even understand at this time. Matthew has touched many hearts, including ours. Even though we know that Matthew is in the arms of Jesus, we are still very saddened to hear this news.

Kent and Kristin- Please accept my deepest condolences in the loss of Matthew. My heart aches with you and I pray that you receive a comfort and peace that only God can give. My husband Nate and I go to NCBC and lost our 5 month old infant son Rowan back in July. He is buried just a few spots down from Matthew. Please know that if you would ever like to talk or connect we would be willing to do so. Just look us up in the directory or talk to Pastor Erin and he can connect us. We will be lifting you and your entire family up in prayer. God Bless.

Don: When I learned that Matthew was your grandson my heart hurt for you. Tnen I thought of the hurt and grief that Kristin and Kent are enduring. I immediately prayed and asked God to comfort Kristin, Kent, and the entire family with His peace. I pray that God will give you the right words at the right moment as you support Kristin and Kent with love. It is my prayer that you will be encouraged as Kristin and Kent lean on you for love, comfort, support, and strength during this difficult time. Sincerly, Rick Gail
