Charles enjoyed spending time at the family cabin on the Cedar River where fishing, swimming, euchre games, cookouts, singing, and playing guitar all took place. He also formed a band with his sister called the Country Notes. They played for many weddings and parties in the area.
Charles’ family would like to thank the staff at Crestview Acres, Mercy Hospice and Amenity Hospice for the kind and compassionate care they gave Charles through the past two years and during his final days. You all helped make his “home away from home” as comfortable as possible. Thanks also to his doctors, Dr. Kresnicka, Dr. Krain, Dr. Janda and all the gals that helped Charles in the family home. Thanks also to all the friends that stopped by to visit him, with special thanks to Phil DeWees.
