Polly A. Traynor, 51, of 1475 Blackhawk Dr in Marion died there on Tuesday Oct. 7, 2008 after a short battle with cancer. Memorial services at 3:00 PM on Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories where friends may call after 2:30 PM. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Brooke Hullermann and her significant other, Scott, of Marion, two sons, Beau (Jenny) Hullermann of Minneapolis, MN. and Thomas Traynor of Cedar Rapids, her mother, Lois Miller of Dubuque, two brothers, Arden (Diane) Miller of Waterloo, Kent (Cindy) Miller of Stone City, and one sister, Debbie Miller of Waterville, MN. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Mykal, Autum, Summer and Lincoln Hullermann. She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, Connie Miller and a brother, Jeff Miller.

Polly was born on Feb. 6, 1957 in Winnebago, MN. the daughter of Dayton and Lois Sparks Miller. She grew up in Dubuque and graduated from Hempstead High School there. Polly worked at St. Lukes for seven and a half years and for the last three and a half years at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. as a respiratory therapist. Polly enjoyed reading, making jewelry, the outdoors, her job and her family, especially her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Polly’s name.
