Jeanne was born August 15, 1918 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Willard and Alta Adams Morgan. She graduated from Grant High School in January of 1936. She married Woodrow Wilson Morrison on July 24, 1941. They lived in Cedar Rapids for eight years before moving to Evergreen CO for two years. Then they moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming where Jeanne was employed by the Wyoming Stock Grower's Association for 22 years, where she was a secretary and kept track of all brand inspections until her retirement in 1980. The couple moved back to Cedar Rapids in 1988. After the death of her husband in 1994, Jeanne moved back to Torrington in 1999 to be near her daughter. She had lived at Evergreen Court. She was a very active swimmer logging over 2300 total miles. She became the "oldest women to swim 100 miles" in the city of Cheyenne. Jeanne could be found walking; two miles daily, in fact, and was a familiar face around Torrington. She attended the First Congregational Church in Torrington. Memorials may be made to Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church Building Fund.
