Charles Kellogg, 59, of Crestview Acres, died at St. Luke's Hospital, on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, after a long illness. Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walford by the Rev. David Mosher. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the church on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Charlie is survived by three children, Michelle Devon Christian of Cedar Rapids, Grant Jenny Kellogg of Ely, and Chad Michele Kellogg of Marion; his father, William and his best friend, Beverly of Cedar Rapids; granddaughter, Kiera Kellogg; brother, Robert Barb Kellogg of Cedar Rapids.

Charlie was born on July 30, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa to William and Jessie Kellogg. He worked in sales all of his life. Charlie played softball and coached wrestling in Cedar Rapids. He was a social person who made many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
