Steven C. Allen

I started working with Steve in November 2006, and have learned from him since that time so much. He was the kind of person who could look at a page of numbers, and tell you what is going on in a program where as I need to have visual cues. I always had a lot of respect for Steve in his ability to look at a bunch of text and numbers, and interpret the purpose of the program. I'll miss his "Kelly, do you have a minute?" questions so much.
Our department will not be the same without Steve.
Be at peace Steve.

At work we were the 'simulator geeks'; nobody really knew what we did but the instructors knew that if we didn't show up for awhile they wouldn't have a training simulator. We spent a lot of long hours together and drove each other nuts at times. It's been over 3 months since he was last in the office but on a quiet afternoon I swear I can still hear him over there squeaking his stupid chair! He used to get so frustrated over the simplest things, like a computer mouse that had too many buttons, or a wireless keyboard that was running low on batteries. I'd have to go replace his equipment just so he wouldn't blow a gasket.

I worked with Steve 20 years ago when I was a new college graduate. Steve and I shared an interest in personal computers.

Steve`s advice and coaching while we worked together was a pivital influence that ultimately shaped my career and my life.

Steve`s memory certainly lives on in me and I will remember his smile, his laugh, and our friendship.

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. Wishing you comfort during this time of sorrow. Thinking of you and your family during this time.
