Patricia J. Orton, 79, of 909 Wiley Blvd. NW, died at West Ridge Care Center, Wednesday, July 14, 2004, after a brief illness. Graveside Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Turner West Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a son Henry Orton of Cedar Rapids; a daughter and her husband, Kathryn Mike Macey of Aurora, Colorado; four grandchildren, Chris Lisa Orton, Matt Orton, Everett Tina Macey, and Andrew Hanson; and four great grandchildren, Hunter and Riley Orton, and Caleb and Colby Macey.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a brother Norman; and a sister June Sweeney.

Patricia was born April 7, 1925 in Cedar Rapids to Willian and Kathryn Pike Hanson. She married Charles Orton in Troy, Kansas on August 4, 1946. He died in 1990.

Patricia was a member of TOPS, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
