Terri and DeAnn,
My thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. I will never forget the two of you or the kind things that you did for my family when I was single. I have seen your mom a couple of times at Fareway getting groceries and we always talked about the Christmas that I spent at your house with my kids when I was alone. Your mom was a sweetheart.
I would like to hear from you before you head back to your homes.
It would be fun to catch up and remember old times. My no is 319 849-3920 or cell is 319 310-4875.
May god bless you and your family during this very difficult time.

DeAnn & Family,
Something that has helped me through the loss of my mother - may it comfort you as well.
In the rising of the sun and
in its going down
We remember them;
In the blowing of the wind and
in the chill of winter,
We remember them;
In the opening of the buds and
in the warmth of summer,
We remember them;
In the rustling of leaves and
the beauty of autumn,
We remember them;
In the beginning of the year and when
it ends,
We remember them;
So long as we live, they too shall live,
For they are now a part of us as
We remember them.

I have wonderful memories of Yvonne on our many camping trips we shared with her family. She could brighten anybodies day with her warm smile and wonderful laugh. She cared so much for her family and loved all her animals. She was a wonderful friend to my parents as well as to my sisters and myself. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I cherish the short time we were able to see her for Nana's funeral. My thoughts and prayers go out to Tobie, Terry, DeAnn, Connie and Donnie. God Bless you all.

Toby, Terri, DeAnn, Conni and Donnie,
I want you to know that my thoughts are with you. There are so many memories I have growing up that Yvonne was part of. There are very few people that care for animals the way she did. She had a great sense of humor and my favorite memories are those of her laughing. Getting to see her recently was really special to me.
I know that my Mom and Dad feel that they have lost one of their best friends, they will greatly miss her but they have wonderful memories.
Take care!

I was blessed to have Yvonne not only as a neighbor and dear friend to my parents, but a kind heart that shared the love of animals with me. When I was growing up I got the privilege to help watch all her animals when they went on vacation. I use to think, WOW I am so lucky, look at all these animals. I use to get jealous because she has so many and I only had dogs. When I would look down the block, you could see Major from our house. I would say, "I am going to have a black lab," and I did 3 of them. I am so glad I got to spend time with her at my Nana's funeral. She was laughing and joking and this is how I will always remember her. Love to you Toby, Terri, De Ann, Connie and Donnie. What a blessing she was.

My prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. I have so many memories of all of her and all the times your family came to our house. She would never wear boots in the winter, through the snow she wore something that looked like slippers. She was always interested in hearing about what was going on in everyones lives and she loved to tease. She would look at me with this serious face then her beautiful smile would creep up and she would start laughing. I remember her love of animals and always having a house full. She used to let me take Major and Midnight for walks because I liked big dogs and all we had were little dachshunds. I will miss her.
