*** Kathleen M. Fillmore, 65, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formerly of Marion died Friday June 6, 2008 at the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City after a long illness. Graveside services at 10 AM on Sat. at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Ron Franklin will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at 1100 West 10th Ave. in Marion. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Tom, two daughters, Tammi Fillmore and Billi David Fritch all of Oklahoma City and a brother, Bill Kristan of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Nadia and Natalie. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Kathleen was born on Feb. 1, 1943 in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of William and Marcella Pechar Kristan. She married Tom D. Fillmore on Sept. 16, 1967 in Marion. Kathleen did sewing, alterations and child care from her home from many years. She was a faithful and former member of the First Christian Church in Marion. Kathleen was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Memorial donations may be given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Kathleen's name.
