Steven G. Giovanazzi, 55, of 4651 Midway Drive NW, died May 24, 2008 in his home suddenly from natural causes. Memorial services will be held 9:00 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. William B. Harnish will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel after 8:30 AM. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Honors will be presented by the Marine Corps League.

Survivors include his mother Isabelle of Cedar Rapids; sisters Sandra K. Zahn and husband Rick of Cedar Rapids, and Sally A. Cook and husband Thomas of Ozark, MO. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Brandon Cook stationed with the United States Air Force, Sara Cook of Ozark, MO, and Zachary Zahn of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Gene Giovanazzi.

Steven Gene Giovanazzi was born August 29, 1952 in Cedar Rapids the son of Robert G. and Isabelle E. Webster. He served his country honorably in the United States Marines Corps during the Vietnam War. He was very proud of being a Marine, and having the opportunity to serve his country. He was employed for several years at City Carton Recycling Center. He enjoyed the time he spent with his friends at Tommy's, his beloved dog Buddy, and camping on the beach at the Wapsi. Above all he enjoyed time spent with his family. He will be greatly missed.
