I can't stop crying, and my heart aches whenever I think about coming to your house to visit and not seeing your smiling face. I miss your voice.. your stubbornness.. I miss everything about you. You will never know how much you meant to me, not only as a grandfather, but a dad. I will embrace the smile you shared with me every day that I was there.. Di, Dave and Jim, I'm very saddened to learn of your dad's passing. I remember him as a gentle, kind, patient and fun-loving person. Seems like there were always kids coming and going at your house back when we were growing up, but your dad took everything in stride and was happy to have us around. Jim, Diana, David and all your families; I can't begin to tell you how sorry I feel about the loss you all have taken. I do know though that memories will stay with you forever and you will find times when you wish you could tell your dad something special about what's going on in your life. You still can because they, our parents, and families, and friends still hear us, and would probably wonder why we weren't talking to them if we stopped. I know I have a lot of memories of when we were all MUCH younger and lived so close together. Maybe one of these years when I get up there to C.R. I can take a few more days, and find the time for us to get together and visit about all those times we had, and your parents. My thoughts are with you in these times of sorrow and grief. To Sonny's family, I just want to tell you that I am so sorry for your loss. Sonny and Donna were a big, big part of my growing up years and I have so many great memories of them!! Sonny was the only person in the world who ever got me up on water skis!! He was so patient and he spent hours out there in Lake Delhi trying to help me!!
