Helen Marie Reed
Dear family of Helen: I am the daughter of Norman Barney & Verda Baird of Fairfield, IA and I live in C.R. with my husband. Helen was the maid of honor in my parent's wedding in 1954. I had lunch with Helen one day last October when my Mom came up to C.R. for a visit. She was the nicest of ladies and I always enjoyed our visits. My sympathy is extended to the family. Love, Diane

My older brother Dick Hardesty was a good friend of Bob Rock's. I met Helen through them. We all used to roller skate at Ce-Mar Acres. We also had some taco parties after skating or dancing. I have a picture of us in a congo line at Helen's house on 1st Ave. West. I went to McKinley High School with Marilyn Rock. In later years, I would see Helen downtown. I was still working and I would see her on my lunch hour. She was a sweet friendly person and I always enjoyed seeing her and talking with her.
