Memorial

Christina Naso Lacock, 63, of Naples, Florida formerly of Cedar Rapids died Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha following a long illness. Memorial Mass: 10:30 A.M. Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church. The Rev. David O'Connor will officiate. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home on Friday from 4PM to 8PM.
Christina is survived by a daughter, Toby Lacock of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Theresa Meis and Mary Kelly Dennis both of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, John Naso Kay of Surprise, AZ and Jim Naso of Crest Hill, IL; 14 nieces and nephews; 21 great nieces and nephews; and 4 great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Edna Naso.
Christina was born July 26, 1944 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of Leo and Edna Larson Naso. She owned and operated Freshens Yogurt in downtown Iowa City from 1988 to 1998. She was a lifetime member of the Mercy Medical Center's Auxiliary, where she served as president for two years. While living in Naples, Christina was an employee of The Club at Olde Cypress. She loved her family unconditionally, and treasured her friendships. Her sense of humor, her generosity, and innate wisdom will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The last few years that she spent living in Florida, were among the happiest of her life. The sunshine and warmth did wonders for her soul.
Memorials may be made to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House.
