My earliest memory of Dan is the great times that I would have with him just being really little kids growning up on Knollwood Dr., playing basketball on the short hoop in the driveway when the conversion van wasn't in the way, and just learning how to be good people. My heart goes out to all those who knew Dan, he was a friend to all, who will always be remembered for his kind ways and charitable heart. They were both so sweet. I have thought about Dan lately as my next door neighbors are going through the surgeries for cleft.
