Pauline Harriet Risser, 96, of 2115 1st Avenue SE, died there, Friday, October 5, 2007, after a brief illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Duane Hix of Kenwood Park Presbyterian Church. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday one hour before the service.

She is survived by a special niece and nephew-in-law, Don and Nancy Stone of Charleston, SC and their children, Alexander Stone III, Melissa Crosby, and Virginia Crutchley; and several cousins.

Pauline was born on October 12, 1910 in Marengo to Ira and Nellie Whiteford. She married George Irwin Risser on November 1, 1943 in Shreveport, LA. He died in 2005. Pauline held a variety of positions at Northwestern Bell before retiring. She taught china painting and had various artistic hobbies. She had been a member of Kenwood Park Presbyterian Church for over 50 years.
