Patricia Josephine Leyse-White, 50, of 1130 16th Street SE, died at St. Luke's Hospital, Friday, September 21, 2007, after a long battle with cancer. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Grant Wood Chapel by the Rev. Carol Sundberg of St. Paul United Methodist Church . A visitation will be held at Cedar Memorial Grant Wood Chapel on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Survivors include 2 sons, Shawn Leyse and Chad White; a daughter, Stephanie Michael Doe all of Cedar Rapids; 2 sisters, Janette Oehlke and Frances Tom McBath, both of Two Rivers, WI; a brother, Michael Krecioch of Cedar Rapids; a grandchild, Mishayla and 2 special grandchildren, Peyton and Aiden ; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Geraldine Kohl Krecioch; her husband, Steven, and a sister, Michele Untiedt.

Patricia was born on April 18, 1957 in South Bend, IN and married Steven Allen White on September 2, 1976 in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping and crafts; especially designing stained glass, candles and jewelry. She also loved writing poetry. Her biggest love was her family and her pet, Maddi.

A memorial fund has been established.
