Bong Ye You, 90, of 4705 Westchester Dr. NE, died Monday, July 15, 2002, in St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness. Services at 10:30 AM Friday in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Rev. Jong Koo Lee of the Cedar Rapids Korean Baptist Church will officiate. Entombment in Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Friends may call at the chapel after 10 AM on Friday. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters Ok Ran Kim of Los Angeles, California, and Kim Wessels of Cedar Rapids.
Also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and three special friends An Soon Opfer, Joseph Dwyer, and Song Pok Yi. She was preceded in death by her husband Kim Yun Soo, and a son Jin Ku Kim.
Bong was born October 26, 1911 in Seoul, South Korea. She was a member of the Cedar Rapids Korean Baptist Church.
