Through visits on our safari, our conversations on the phone, and your e-mail notes, we grew to know and admire Mike through you. We knew how much you cared for him and loved him. Mike's picture and obituary confirmed that he was everything you said about him--handsome, intelligent, and a man of the world. Several years ago I attended a business seminar at Keystone, which was very impressive. I am proud that he was the founder of such a lovely place. And having played golf several times at Pebble Beach, we admire his skill in being able to shoot par 72 on that challenging course. We won't tell you what we shot--just lost count. So...we know his departure not only leaves his grieving wife, family, and friends but obviously many in the Cedar Rapids community and in the golfing world. Our hearts and love are with you.
