Beverly Jean Oler, 73, of Lisbon, died at Mercy Medical Center, Friday, August 25, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by the Rev. John Keizer of Springville United Methodist Church. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and after 12:30 p.m. Monday at the chapel.

Survivors include her husband, Claude; two sons, Terry Connie Osler Oler of Lisbon and Randy Dixie Oler of Le Claire; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Robert, Chase, Curtis, and Tina and two great grandchildren, Abigail and Zachary.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.

Beverly was born on October 8, 1932 in Cedar Rapids to Merle and Loretta Vander Mark O'Connor. She married Claude E. Oler in Lisbon on December 31, 1950. Beverly loved to go shopping, country dancing and playing poker video machines. She also loved Hawkeye basketball and her beloved pet, Tuffy.
