We have many memories of Pat--riding to high school from M'ville, church activities, etc. That was many years ago, but the memories are still alive. - Lowell and Carla

We came across this poem and thought it was just the one for Aunt Patty. With All Our Love. "Love is the true means by which the world is enjoyed: our love to others, and others' love to us."

In memory of my beloved sister Patty, she was always more than a sister; she was my mentor, counselor, advisor and friend. I will always remember the good times we had together as well as the hard times we shared. Patty had such a zest for life; she loved Bob, Diana and Scott completely, they were the loves of her life. Patty enjoyed family and her many friends so much. I can still hear her laughter after a good story or a prank successfully played on someone. I know that she is now with our LORD in heaven, an angel watching over each of us left behind. She is guiding our thoughts and actions and telling us "All Is Well".

Mom, there isn't a day that goes by that we don't think about you and wish you were here with us. We all miss you something awful and our lives will never be the same. You were the rock of our family and I am so very proud of you. I just hope some day that I can be half the person that you were to everyone. I am just so thankful we had a great Easter together and I wish I could have said and done more for you that day if I only knew that was our last day together. We promise that we will take good care of Dad for you as if you were here doing it yourself. Remember, we love you with all of our hearts and always will.

It is hard to know just where to start since my "nanny" brought the world to me and my family. I start with knowing that there were many ways in which she enriched everyones life. From the simple things like baking ones favorite dishes to more complexed things like loving and supporting her soul mate PoPo for over 56 years. For providing unconditional love to her 2 children Mom and Uncle Scott, and continuing on to her 4 grandchildren Brad, Kari, Ami & Daniel and still with out pause, enriching the lives of 4 great-grandchildren Ryan, Braydon, Tyler & Kayli. Still my "nanny" didn't stop there she touch many friends. Here is a poem I wrote for her. ****A grandmothers love is strong and bright, it shines throught our darkest nights, she picked us up when we were down, she gave us direction and turned our world around, she shared what she had learned in life, and protected us through our flights, she's kind and gentle full of grace and we will never forget her beautiful face.**** I know she is watching from heaven above, I only pray that I have made her proud, so as you walk with God, I want to say THANK YOU NANNY for having such unconditional love!!! I love you so very much and miss you dearly. XOXOXOXOXOX
