Children's Candlelight Memorial Vigil

The light represents the inner love, constant longing, and precious memories we will carry in our hearts forever. A candlelight memorial service will be held in conjunction with Compassionate Friends annual, worldwide candle lighting observance. Join other families who have lost a child, whether through pregnancy or infant death, during childhood, or as an adult, as we light individual candles in honor of the memory of our beloved children. All family, extended family and friends who want to show support are encouraged to attend.
You are invited to participate.
Each family will have the opportunity to light a candle in memory of their child during this hour-long memorial service. A memory table will be provided to display special mementos or a picture of your child. Please have your items on the table by 6:45 PM. Along with the photo for display on the table, you may submit a brief story that you care to share about your son or daughter.

Families who would like to have their child's picture shown on the overhead screen, while their name is announced, should submit a picture and message by Friday, December 2, 2011 to Amy Tersinar, 3495 26th Avenue, Marion, Iowa 52302, or email to Amy at divotqueen418@yahoo.com. Pictures may be picked up after the service.
