Ruth graduated from Monticello High School (the Panthers!). Her yearbook describes her as “Mischief shines through her eyes”, which held true throughout her life.

Ruth worked at Rockwell Collins and Data Network systems.

Together with her husband, Ruth enjoyed fishing trips, travel abroad (Germany) and tending to their large garden, canning most everything grown. A master at crocheting, everyone that knows her has an afghan blanket!

Ruth and Loyd’s faith, rooted in the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church, share praise to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and share her favorite prayer: “God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change…Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference”. We take solace and comfort knowing Ruth is in Heaven.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in Ruth’s honor. We are having a tree planted in an Omaha park in loving memory of her.
