Julia A. Klaren, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, October 18, 2018.
A public graveside will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A gathering will be held from 10:00-10:45 am Friday at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; son, Derek Alan Klaren of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Elizabeth Marie Klaren of Cedar Rapids; sister, Lucia Gage of Center Point; brother, David Gage of Las Vegas. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Allen and Ronald Gage, and a nephew Shane and niece, Cindy.
Julia Ann Klaren was born November 5, 1959 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Roy Kessler and Audrey Gage. On January 7, 1984, she married Thomas H. Klaren at Cedar Rapids, IA. Julia was an over achiever and always did very well everywhere she worked over the years which included Nordstrom’s and TransAmerica. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
