Ron Rohrig, 47, of Cedar Rapids, lost his battle with colon cancer on March 12, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-6:00 pm Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. Inurnment will be held in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Hazleton, at a later date.
Ron worked at Parker-Hannifin Corp. in Hiawatha for many years. He enjoyed camping, riding his Harley, kayaking and working on computers.
Survivors include his mother, Linda Rohrig; twin brother, Rod (Pam) Rohrig; sister, Robin (Dan) Phillips; girlfriend, Jenn Goerdt and her son, Anthony; nephews, Justin Phillips, Jacob Phillips and Westley Rohrig; two aunts and several cousins; and his Parker-Hannifin family and camping friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his father, Merlin, one aunt, two uncles and grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to Hall-Perrine Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society.
