To Georgia and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Like others have been saying, I so enjoyed seeing Ernie stop in to our office. His straight-faced sense of humor always made me laugh. I still tell people the story of him getting Georgia a hot air balloon ride for her birthday or their anniversary (can't remember which). So sweet and romantic.

I'm so sorry to read of Ernie's passing. I enjoyed having him bring the mail to our office at Kirkwood. He always took the time to spend a few minutes and share a comment. My prayers include the family.

Georgia, I'm so sorry to hear of Ernie passing away. I have a lot of fond memories hanging out baking with you and slapping Ernie's hand away when he tried to eat the sweets. Warm hugs to you, Ernie, and Bob. Steph

Georgia and family, I am so sorry about the passing of Ernie. I worked at Kirkwood and enjoyed his visits as he delivered mail. I'm so glad he was able to retire and enjoy his family .. as well as tell even more jokes! May he rest in peace. Take care of yourself. Hugs ... Suzanne Nelson from the Kirkwood Foundation.

So sorry to read of Ernie’s passing. Deepest sympathies to Georgia and family. Those in our department at Kirkwood always looked forward to having Ernie coming into the office. He was always good for brightening one’s day with a smile and some teasing.

So shocked to hear of Ernie’s passing. I worked at Kirkwood and he delivered our mail. Loved his conversations and humor. He also enjoyed our snacks. Very nice man who will be missed. He so enjoyed his family and his grandkids. My deepest sympathies for your loss.

Ernie was the mail guy when I worked at Kirkwood Community College. He always had time for a conversation with us as he walked by. Very nice guy! I saw him at Sears a couple of times too. He remembered me and we had a great conversation.

Georgia, I'm so very sorry for your loss....I know your heartache now....you and the boys remember all of the good times with a smile. I haven't seen you for ages and miss you. I always loved your visits at the grocery store. My sincere sympathy, you are in my thoughts. Annamae Baker

On behalf of the Class of 1966 from Hawley High School, we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of our friend & classmate, Ernie Foss. Ernie never missed a class reunion and was a joy to visit with each time. He could remember so many details and always had a lot of questions for me at each reunion!! RIP our dear friend.
