Memorial
Bernice L. Kovar, 104, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Heritage Specialty Care. A visitation will be on Thursday, January 18, 2018 starting at Noon at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will immediately follow at 1 P.M. at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bernice was born on November 30, 1913; the daughter of Earl and Lottie (Millburn) Meskimen.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband Paul Park Kovar, sons Robert and John Pavelka, and brother Bill Meskimen.
Left to cherish Bernice’s memories are grandchildren, Dayna (Barry) Houser, Randy Pavelka, 5 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be sent to Heritage Specialty Care, in Cedar Rapids.
