Memorial

Donald D. Langfitt, 84, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital. A visitation will be on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 1PM to 2PM.  Graveside will be at 2PM at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Donald D. Langfitt was born on July 25, 1933; the son of Orland W. and Naomi (Brown) Langfitt.  Donald proudly served in the United States Army, he was united into marriage to Linda Hines on September 3, 1983 in Cedar Rapids.  He enjoyed woodworking cars, he was a very hard worker, and most of all loved spending time with family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother; and sister, Alma Bethune. 

Left to cherish Donald’s memories are his wife, Linda Langfitt; two children, Donna (Steven) Smith and Terry (Cathy) Langfitt; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five siblings, Robert (Nancy) Langfitt, Earl (Sandy) Langfitt, Betty Bramow, Opal Miller and MarJean Korff. 


A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Donald’s name.
