So sorry for your loss Sherry. Your family is in my thoughts.

Sherry and family, We are so, so sorry you have lost dear John. He had such enthusiasm and a real zest for life! His twinkling eyes and genuine smile would light up a room. John was the consummate host and guest. He loved his family and friends and the times together. We hope that your faith, family, friends and good memories will sustain you at this time. We send you our deepest sympathies and much love,

Sherry and Family, please accept my deepest condolences for your family's loss. I remember Dr Purdie from when I had braces 30+ years ago. I had DeKock and every time I had to come into their office it was like a little party back there with all 3 of them telling jokes, laughing and just have a great time. As a child having to go there and being scared the first time then I couldn't wait to go back. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers

Sherry, Thinking of you during this difficult time. John was a pleasure to be around, always cheerful, warm and friendly. We got to know him when our kids had braces and we actually looked forward to those sessions in the office. He always made the kids feel special and I appreciated that.

Dear Sherry, we are so sorry for your loss. John was such a dear friend. I have so many memories of our high school days, such good times we had. We still talk about when we came to your home for a delightful day. Lloyd and Katherine were there also. God Bless you and your family.

Sherry and family, We are sorry to learn of John's passing and for your loss. He will always be remembered fondly for his bright smile, keen wit, and just plain enjoyable to be a around. It was always fun to kid him about being Rockwell City's favorite son and remember driving by the "Purdie farm" every day on the way to school. We hope good memories and good friends help sustain you,
