Isabelle E. Chadim, 98, of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Robins, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at ManorCare Health Services-Utica Ridge, Davenport, Iowa following a brief illness.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial will be held in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 am Wednesday at the chapel.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Dale) Corrigan of Bettendorf; grandson, Jeff (Kirsten) Corrigan of Marion; great grandson, Ryan Corrigan of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1976, and two brothers, George and Harold Atwater.
Isabelle Elvira Atwater was born April 28, 1919 in Marion, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Ethel (Kensinger) Atwater. On June 6, 1940, she married Robert Chadim at the United Methodist Church in Marion, Iowa. Isabelle moved from Robins to Bettendorf, then lived at Palmer Hills and Luther Heights in Bettendorf. She loved meeting people and making new friends, dancing, watching Lawrence Welk, bingo and eating at Bishop’s.
