I had the pleasure of working in the Administration Building at Linn-Mar for a number of years with Mary. What a sweet lady. Efficient, intelligent, kind, caring and always an encourager. My mom dealt with memory issues before she died in April. We rejoice in a risen Savior who has restored them to full mind. Speak of her often and keep sharing all those memories.

Brian, Julia & Family: Having walked this journey not so long ago, my heart aches for you. I wish I'd known your mom before the disease robbed her. I didn't know she worked for Linn-Mar. I find it uncanny that she and my dad lived next door to one another at Emery as my father Mike was an Assistant Superintendent/Business Manager in the school system for many years. I wonder if they're visiting about that now that they've been restored and free of Alzheimer's?! Your mom still had that spunk and I was so pleased she could enjoy the music when I played piano. Take care and know that you cared so well for your mom and the love you shown her was pure and genuine. I love the picture you've chosen for her obituary!

Bryce, sorry to see that your grandma has passed. Obviously I never knew her but knowing you and the fact you were closely related I am sure she was a good mentor and role model for you. Take care.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Keep the memories flowing your mom was a wonderful lady. Thinking of you and your family at this time.

So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I remember Mary as a very sweet, charming, and fun person to hang out with. I met her in high school, as I went to Franklin High in Cedar Rapids. I'M sure family and friends will miss very much! Red Moore Montesano, WA

Sorry to hear about your mother's passing, Mike. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to Mary's family. My husband Stan and your Dad worked together many years at BICS. Along with the Waterhouse's our families shared several activities together in the earlier years. The adults had some "group" date nights attending concerts, football games and dances. Memories along with your special memories of your Mom and Dad will forever be in your hearts. My thoughts are with you at this time.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's passing. So many great memories. She loved her family and she will be missed.
