Peter Vasquez, 57, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. A gathering will be held from 3 PM to 4:30 PM, with sharing of memories beginning at 3 PM, on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Peter Sylvian Vasquez was born on November 23, 1959 to Francis and Rose Mueller Vasquez in Kansas City, Missouri.
He is survived by his parents, Francis and Rose of Missoula, MT; a daughter, Melissa (Alex) Bailey of Stevensville, MT; granddaughter, Agnesse Rose Bailey; siblings, Ned Vasquez and Anita Vasquez both of Missoula, MT; Frank (Mary) Vasquez, Jr. of Vienna, VA; and Maria (John-Michael) Chadam of Delray Beach, FL; lifelong companion, Cindy Horstman of Cedar Rapids; Julie Vasquez of Missoula, MT; and many nieces and nephews.
