Dear Scott,Ross and extended family..I send deep condolences to you at the loss of your Mother and my dear friend. We lived next door for many years and thought you and your parents were especially great neighbors. Jerry especially enjoyed your dad and Jane and your grandparents. We have great memories to remember..With Love Mae Crocker

Dear Scott and Ross, I send my deepest condolences on the loss of your mom and grandmother. Nancy was such a sweet and fun spirited lady. I had the pleasure of growing up next door to Nancy and George as our neighbors. I was able to visit Nancy at her home at MethWick this past summer. My husband Joe and I were lucky enough to be invited to go out for brunch with Nancy and her beloved Ross this past summer when Ross was in town visiting. As you both know, she loved you dearly and was so very proud of both of you. Her kindness, joy of life and love of her friends and family will always be remembered fondly. Monica Crocker Fergus (and Joe)

To the family of Nancy Barr: I am so sorry for your loss. Nancy's family and friends are in my thoughts an prayers. I am a server at Meth wick and had the pleasure of serving Nancy dinner. She will be missed. I have a memory of her that I hold dear and I will hold dear to that memory and my other memories with Nancy. She was a fighter and its now her time to rest.

SCOTT: I AM LOOKING AT A PICTURE OF YOUR MOTHER AND GLORIA, MY WIFE, IN 1944 WITH THEIR CAPS AND GOWNS ON THE STEPS OF OLD EAST HIGH SCHOOL IN DES MOINES. I'M REALLY NOT SURE WHEN THEIR CLOSE FRIENDSHIP BEGAN BECAUSE FAY ALLEN AND GLORIAS MOTHER WERE GOOD FRIENDS TOO. SINCE MY WIFE DIED IN 2012, NANCY AND I HAVE TALKED ON THE PHONE REGULARLY AND PLEASANTLY. SHE TOLD ME ON THE PHONE SHE WAS GLAD TO HAVE THE DOCTORS 6 MONTH DIAGNOSIS. SHE WAS A GREAT LADY BILL HEARSHMAN OVERLAND PARK, KS. 2/252017

So sorry about your mom, Scott. Our condolences during this sad time.

To Nancy's family: It was my very great pleasure to get to know Nancy in the last months of her life. While I know that Luna brought her great pleasure, she returned the favor to us many times over. She was a dear lady and we will miss her.

Doug & family: Louis and Nancy were good friends of my father, Jim. They were so good to him and Nancy was especially attentive after Louis's passing. Her cards and notes really lifted his spirits. Their friendship meant a lot to my dad. I'm sorry for your loss. She was a great lady...so kind and thoughtful.

To Nancy's Family, My sympathy to all of you on the passing of your mom and grandma. I met Nancy more than thirty years ago when I was a newly graduated RN at Mercy Medical Center. I took care of her beloved mom, Fay. The three of us developed a friendship during Fay's hospitalizations. I was planning my wedding and they were always interested in hearing the details. Nancy came to our wedding in 1985. I heard stories of Scott and Jane. I remember when George passed away. And I recall Nancy telling me when she met Louis that her children "insisted that I marry him." Both were wonderful men. Nancy and I exchanged Christmas cards every year until this past December. This time the card I had sent came back to me. I wondered then if she had moved or what had happened that the card wasn't delivered. I was saddened to learn of her death. She was a gracious lady. I will miss my Christmas pen pal. God's peace and blessings to all of you.

Scott. I read your moms obituary and wanted to send my condolences. Reading her obituary brought back memories of us growing up and how great your mom and dad both were.
