Jerry Barker of Shellsburg, Iowa passed away unexpectedly August 9 at his home.
Jerry is survived by his wife Janet Handler of Shellsburg and his two sons Robert (Shannon) and Stephen (Christine), both of Houghton, MI. He was a longtime resident of Shellsburg, and had retired from a rewarding career with the Central Iowa Power Cooperative.
Jerry loved his family, his friends, his dogs, good music, good food, wild places, and peaceful time on the front porch.
