Lois Jean Taylor, 91, of Alburnett, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her home. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lois was born September 23, 1925, the daughter of Charles and Lela (Pratt) Willmott, in Cedar Rapids. She married Barton C. Taylor on January 19, 1946. He passed away in 2012. Lois enjoyed many hobbies including sewing, cooking, baking and gardening. She was a member of The Garden Club and her specialty was African Violets. She worked as a homemaker most her life. Taking care of her family was her greatest joy.
Survivors include her three children, Jerry (Diana) Taylor, Janice (Bob) Ehrenberger, Joyce Taylor; four grandchildren, Aaron Taylor, Ben (Keren) Taylor, Daniel (Jennifer) Ehrenberger, Tiffany (Adam) Rupp; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Willmott; and special friends, Cindy and Bill Mefford, and Bev Naylor.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters, and one brother.
