Thomas K. Davis, 87, passed away May 18, 2016 at his home.
After a private family service, a visitation will take place from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016 at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Sonya; son Michael Davis of Princeton, New Jersey; sister Eltin Babicky of Baltimore, Maryland; step-daughters Laura (Steve) Shim of Easley, South Carolina and Lisa Bachman of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Delores, and son, Nick.
Tom was born January 10, 1929 in Piedmont, West Virginia to George and Madeline Davis. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict. He married Delores Lauby on May 3, 1952. She passed away in 1990. On April 11, 1992, he married Sonya Paxson.
Tom was Plant Personnel Manager for the Graphic Systems Division of Rockwell International Corporation from 1980 until his retirement in 1993. His passions were golf, the Hawkeyes, and most of all, his family.
Memorial donations in Tom’s name may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
