Peggy Lee Brake, 65, of Cedar Rapids passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the First Baptist Church-Church of the Brethren, Cedar Rapids where a visitation will take place from 4:00-6:00 pm. Thursday. Rev. Jerry Bertelson and Rev. Tammy Buseman will officiate.
Survivors include her daughter, Dina Brake; son, Aron Brake; mother, Beth King, all of Cedar Rapids; brother, Tony (Kathy) King and family of OH; mother-in-law, Ruth Brake of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her father, husband Mike Brake in 2009 and a brother, Steven King.
Peggy Lee Brake was born April 21, 1951 in Iowa Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey & Beth (Carte) King. On August 9, 1975 she married Michael E. Brake in Cedar Rapids, IA. Peggy worked at Rockwell Collins for 35 years until retiring in 2011.
