Karine Hatesa Apineru-Evans, 57, of Cedar Rapids passed away on May 17, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4 to 7 PM at Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Karine was preceded in death by her parents.
Karine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish Karine’s memory is her husband of 26 years Shawn Evans, and daughters, Karine, Jennifer, and Irene. Grandchildren Amayah, and Rapi. Sisters Te’afa’atasi, Susie, Selesitina, and brothers James, Tauloa, and Pouso’o.
A memorial fund has been established in Karine’s name.
