Glenn Keith Lange, 80, of Marion, passed away on May 25, 2016 at Crestview Acres.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10:30am at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.  A visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 4-7pm at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Burial will be following the funeral at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Military rites will be presented by Springville American Legion Post #331.  A luncheon will follow the burial at The Springville American Legion.

Glenn was born on February 27, 1936 in rural Delaware County, Iowa to Louis and Bernita (Hutton) Lange.  He was united in marriage to Frances Mae Kirby on March 5, 1957 in Anamosa, Iowa.  She passed away in 1974.  He later married Dorothy Charlotte Schamerhon on October 10, 1975. She passed away in 1995.  He worked at Wilson’s Farmstead for 33 years.  After working at Wilson’s he owned and operated Broadway Café and Bar with Dorothy.

Glenn is survived by his children: Charlene Clothier of Cedar Rapids; Michael Lange of Marion; Jean (Wayne) Schilling of Springville; Glenn “Chuck” (Vicky) Lange of Whittier; Patrick (Betty) Lange of Springville, Iowa; Karla (Kevin) Barnes of  Anamosa, Iowa;  Kim (Brian) Holub of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Denise Lange of Cedar Rapids; and Dennis (Angela) Lange of Colorado.  Stepchildren: Gifford (Julie) Grother of Pompano Beach, Florida; Rodney (Mary) Grother of Cedar Rapids; Deborah (Cliff Emrich) Hudson of Cedar Rapids; and Rebecca (Daniel) Quinby of Cedar Rapids.  His siblings: Delphine Wennekamp, Donna Ulferts, Mert (Marilyn) Lange, Donald (Sharon) Lange, Roger Lange, and Jerry Lange.  He is also survived by 45 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Frances Mae; his second wife Dorothy; his brothers Dale, Paul, Junior, and Kenneth; his sister Helen Lange; step-son Clifford and granddaughter Missy.
