Imogene T. Snell, 91, of Cedar Rapids, passed away, Monday, June 20, 2016 at her home.
Funeral service: 1:30 pm Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with Chaplain Mike Patterson officiating. Entombment will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Norman; son, Mark (Shirley) Snell of Marion; daughter, Theresa Snell of Marion; Siblings, Novella Cunningham of Marion, Martin Winch of Marion, Mary (Gary) Goodlove of Cedar Rapids and Merle (Lois) Winch of Hopkinton; also surviving are many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Shirley Hazelbaker, son, Norward “Bob” Snell and a brother, Lyle Winch.
Imogene Theola Winch was born March 20, 1925 in Hopkinton, Iowa, the daughter of Henry & Theresa (LeClaire) Winch. On June 16, 1945 she married Norman Maurice Snell in Belle Plaine, IA. Imogene was a homemaker for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
