Dale Dean Gorsh, 61, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 1 PM at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Dale was born on July 13, 1954; the son of Donald and Norma Ann (Frondle) Gorsh. Dale was a long time “fixture” in the KwikShop stores in the Cedar Rapids area. He also was a security guard with U.S. Securities at Rockwell Collins. Dale was a big Indianapolis Colts fan and always had the signature “Colt’s Blue” on. He was a happy soul that shared his love of life with everyone he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and late wife Nancy and two sons, Robert and Lantz.
Left to cherish Dale’s memories are his wife of seven years, Shelley, two sons, Andrew and Adam; one stepson, Christopher of Mesa Az; one daughter, Trudee; sisters Joyce, Char and Charlene; brothers, John, Roy, Ric, Vic; one granddaughter, Ava and many, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial fund has been established.
