Robert C. Snow, 82, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Northbrook Manor Care Center.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Bob was born September 21, 1933 in Cedar Rapids the son of Elmer and Helen Hayward Snow.  He graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1953.  He served in the Navy Sea Bees from 1953 to 1957 attaining the rank of Builder 3rd Class.  He married Rita Martin on September 12, 1959 at St. Patrick's Church in Fairfax, Iowa.

Bob is survived by his children Robert (Sarah) Snow of Wellington, New Zealand; Cris Snow (Duncan McCallum) of Cedar Rapids; Richard (Cathy) Snow of Cedar Rapids; Sheila (Rick) Fisher of Cedar Rapids; Anne (Danny) White of West Des Moines; grandchildren: Atareta Snow (Steve Reid), Molly, Tommy, and Melody Snow, Isaac Rowley (U.S. Navy), Ashlyn, Hayley, and Jacob White.

Also surviving are in-laws Josephine Snow, Mary Ellen (John) Wall, George (Sandy) Martin, Roseanne Altenhofen, Margaret (Bob) Drake, Elaine (Bob) Mowry, Dolores Kloubec, and Gerri Martin, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Earl and Horace, sister Jean McCauley, sister-in-law Kate, and his beloved wife Rita.

He retired from Longview Fiber after thirty-nine years.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Knights of Columbus 909, American Legion Post 0727, the Antarctic Deep Freeze Association, Sea Bee Foundation, N.R.A., and Harmony Hawks Barbershop Chorus.  Bob enjoyed slow-pitch softball, Navy reunions, and woodworking.  His grandchildren were a great joy to Bob.
