Frances “Jean” McCullough, 72 of Marion went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday July 6, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital. A Celebration of Jean’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the Antioch Christian Church in Marion. Pastor Mark McCoy will officiate. Entombment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 PM on Monday.

Survivors include her husband Russell; three daughters Cari (Warren) Phillips of Robins, Rhonda Galigher of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Kathie (Larry) Grekoff of Marion; a son Garett (Sheri) Wolverton of Marion; step-daughter Lori McCullough of Eagen, Minnesota and a brother James Bilbra of Hughsville, Maryland. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and three special foster children Ashley, Shawna and John Jayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Joyce and a step-son Bradley.

Jean was born on May 30, 1944 in Nashville, Tennessee the daughter of George and Margaret Spain Head. She married Russell P. McCullough on July 1, 1978 in Nashville. 

Jean was a registrar at Mercy Medical Center for over 20 years. She was an active and very faithful member of the Antioch Christian Church.

Jean enjoyed quilting, card making, gardening, baking, travel with her family, and especially the time spent with her beloved family and many friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
