Reese Thomas Pearson, 1 year old son of Jay and Jennifer Pearson, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, of a sudden illness. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by Father Tom Mc Dermott. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories visitation room from 4-7 p.m.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is a sister, Allegra Cosgrove of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, grandparents; Lee and Carol Pearson of Central City, Iowa, Joy and Rick Stusse of Fairfax, Iowa, Ray Larson and Carolyn Cleveland of Cedar Rapids, and great grandparents, Lew and Edith Pearson of Marion, Charlie and Jackie Hempstead, of Manchester, Iowa, Francis and Betty Smith of Humbolt, Iowa, his uncles and aunts; Ryan and Carrie Larson of Marion, Iowa, Bill and Laura Fuller of Central City, Iowa, Renea Fuller of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Andy Pearson of Central City, Iowa, Carrie Stusse of Tucson, Arizona and Bryan Stusse and Amy Radermacher of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Michael Hack and Linda Piatt of San Diego, California and Jonathan Hack of Denver, Colorado. Reese was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Della Pearson, great great grandparents; LuVerne and Joanne Sorenson, Joyce and George Larson and Harold and Clara Hempstead.
Reese was born November 25, 2014, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Reese loved music, dancing, sloppy kisses and sweet hugs. He’d sit down and read any book within reach. He loved playing with his sister, Allegra, and hanging out with any of his loving grandparents. He was such a sweet-natured, happy little boy. The world is a considerably lesser place without him in it.
