Memorial

Glen E. Hood, 68, a resident of Heritage Nursing and Rehab died there on Wednesday February 3, 2016. Services at 9:00 AM on Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home where friends may call after 8:30 AM on Saturday. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include a nephew Erick (Tiffany) Hood of Wilton, a grandniece Jayde and a grandnephew Byron. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Byron.

Glen was born on November 3, 1947 in Atlantic the son of Everette and Lois Clark Hood. He graduated from North High School in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1965.

Glen was an avid Hawkeye Football fan and a former member of the Oakland Church of the Nazarene. 

He enjoyed playing chess, card and board games, going for long walks and especially the time spent with his family and friends. A memorial has been established.
