Clarence “Clancy” Everett Bilsland, 75, of Cedar Rapids, IA passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at his home. Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 4-7pm at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Clancy was born November 27, 1939 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of William and Margaret (Vaughn) Bilsland. He married his second wife, Rose on February 3, 1984. She passed away September 6, 1992. He later married Mary in 1996.
Clancy was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his wife Mary of Cedar Rapids, daughter Tammy (Bryan) Weir of Washington; son Devin (Jody) Bilsland of Shellsburg, IA; stepsons Jason (Cathy) Mahan and Shawn (Cindy) Mahan both of Cedar Rapids, grandchildren Danielle, Brandy, Donovan, Gillian, Nichole, Hayley, Brianna, Jaise, Nicole Peterson, and Dustin Saari; great-grandson Logan; brothers, Terry (Doris), David (Rita), John (Laurel), Rich (Billie); sisters Karen (Claude) Hayes and Linda Goebe, 7 step-siblings, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Rose; his half-brother, William; and step-father, Jack.
