Blaine Jay Black, 51, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Private family burial at a later date.

Survivors include his life time partner, Sherri McLellan; siblings; Colleen (Jim) Hersh, Chris (Allen) McMillan, Lynette (Robert) Morrison, Gwen (Mark) Fowler, and Kimberly Kramer. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, John Black.

Blaine was born February 27, 1964, the son of Leonard and Janet Black in Cedar Rapids. He worked as a general laborer for Baskerville Drywall. Blaine served in the United States Army National Guard.
