Robert "Bob" W. Edmonds, 93, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 2nd at Cedar Memorial East. Burial immediately following. Friends may visit from 4 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife Janet, daughters Mary, Barb, and Pam, three stepdaughters, many grandchildren and numerous cousins.

Bob was born in Lone Tree, IA to Elma and Milton Edmonds. He attended country school in Lone Tree along with his brother Maynard. Bob graduated from Tiffin High School where he enjoyed playing on the Baseball League. Bob later farmed in Tiffin for many years. 

Bob married Betty Kloos in 1942 and moved to Cedar Rapids, IA where they had three daughters, Mary, Barb and Pam. He worked and retired from Rockwell Collins as a machinist and maintenance supervisor. After his retirement from Rockwell, he still enjoyed getting together with the guys, and golfing or meeting for breakfast.

Bob was a big sports fan and enjoyed going to the Hawkeye football games, and watching and cheering for the basketball team. He also loved watching the Cubs.

Betty passed in 1986 and Bob remarried Janet White in 1992. Bob and Janet loved to travel, often going to visit his relatives in Texas. Bob and Janet also enjoyed dancing together.

Bob preceded in death by his parents, brother, and first wife, Betty. He is survived by his current wife, Janet Edmonds, his daughters and stepdaughters and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many cousins.

Bob was a quiet man, with a great sense of humor. He will be missed and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
